A Wool Baa Easy Sweater with Cowl Neck Separate

Suitable for the beginner knitter, this raglan sleeve sweater is knitted with 2 X 8 ply yarns together.  Knitted in reverse stocking stitch, it has a separate fold over cowl scarf/collar that can be worn with this sweater or as a scarf with any other garment.

 

Sleeves are designed to be 3/4 length, but can be made to any required length, as can the body of the garment.  Allow additional yarn if you are making the sleeves or body longer. 

                  

To fit bust: 86 (91, 96, 101, 106, 111) cm

Finished Circumference at bust: 86 (92, 98, 103, 110, 116) cm

Garment length to armhole: 33 (34, 36, 37, 37, 38) cm

Finished length to neckline: 50 (52, 55, 57, 58, 60) cm

Sleeve length to armhole: 30 (31, 32, 33, 34, 35) cm

Materials:

  • Adorn Silky Merino DK Colour A: 6 (6, 7, 8, 8, 9) 50 gram balls
  • Adorn Silky Merino DK Colour B: 6 (6, 7, 8, 8, 9) 50 gram balls
  • Optional Cowl Neck Separate: additional 3 balls in Colour A and 3 balls in Colour B
  • Needles: 7mm and 8mm circular 60cm needles.

Yarns used in this garment are Adorn Silky Merino DK colours 100 and 115.

Tension:  Adorn Silky Merino DK – using 2 yarns together and 8mm needles in stocking stitch – 13 sts and 19 rows to 10cm
